MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

Visual 

  • Responsible for the organization and execution of visual standards and expectations 

  • Participates in visual walk through on bestselling product & store KPI’s with VM Coordinator & Flagship Management team 

  • Responsible for all floor set initiatives and ensuring that visual deadlines are met, adhering to Global Standards and Monthly Guidelines  

  • Ensures new product is placed on the floor within visual guidelines in a timely manner 

  • Drives key product launches, product levels and sell through 

  • Communicates with VM Coordinator around key product launch dates, product levels and sell through  

  • Support in completing monthly visual updates, including window installs and instore changes 

  • Ensures mannequins and walls are set according to the momentum guide and refresh as needed 

  • Responsible for promotion setup and breakdown 

  • Responsible for ensuring all promotional materials, marketing signage, product signage and graphics are up to date and applied   

  • Ensures the full store is set according to the global guideline and refreshed as and when needed  

 

Leadership 

  • Assists in training of visual standards and expectations 

  • Actively coaches and develops, providing constant productive feedback to associates  

  • Supports the store management in achieving store metrics including sales, units per transaction, and conversion among other metrics 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent retail/visual merchandising experience preferred 

  • Flagship visual merchandising experience required 

  • Experience in using and interpreting retail KPIs’  

  • Self-motivation, creativity, and organization are crucial in this role 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain business relationships 

  • Embraces NB Lifestyle and has an affinity with the New Balance Brand 

  • Strong retail business acumen 

  • Ability to take a supervising role with projects is critical 

  • Able to work early hours to complete initiatives before store opening 

  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays
