JOB MISSION:

New Balance are offering a full time role within Finance that will be at the heart of pricing functions & process. The role will support the Pricing & Analysis team across both finance & product but with particular focus on the management of all aspects of pricing control, specifically selling price mechanics & intercompany cost pricing that supports finance in the preparation of management month end accounts, forecasts & budgets. Training and support will be given, and you will gain a broad knowledge of a European finance department.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Calculation and upload of intercompany pricing and sharing across all markets & channels.

  • Zero price orders management

  • Calculation, upload and maintenance of all standard costs.

  • Support to product teams in sales planning, RRP & wholesale price setting

  • Working with product team in analysis of price mechanics and competitor benchmarking

  • Third party market tracking of NB wholesalers across product & price

  • Exposure to price/discount monitoring across markets & vendors

  • Exposure to NB retail support – pricing & margin optimization mechanics

  • Checking order books for correct standard costing information.

  • Invoicing reconciliation

  • Assisting UK Wholesale & Key Accounts Management in pricing clearance deals.

  • Other ad-hoc task as required to support the pricing & management accounting team.

  • Ad-hoc pricing across Subsidiary/Distributor – emails & price collection

  • Aurora uploading / order correction

  • Forecast & Budgeting

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Previous experience within a pricing analyst role

  • Motivated individual, keen to learn about financial reports and sports retail.

  • Team player, organised, structured and able to manage priorities.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivots, Complex Formulae) and PowerPoint are advantageous

  • Familiar with SQL, Power BI but not essential

  • Ability to pick up new IT systems quickly.

  • High degree of accuracy and an eye for detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Proactive in problem solving approach.

  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
