Mission

Reporting to the EU Subs Director, the Country manager is the leader of the business in the UK.

He execute and implement the overall strategy in the country on the sports covered by the brand (distribution networks, clubs, ambassadors…).

Activités

The main missions will be :

Managerial staff

  • Manage a sales team across channel of distribution
  • Manage a promoter team across clubs, coaches and operators to develop the brand experience
  • Animate an activation team to implement the right consumer calendar (digital &amp physical)
  • Coordinate the back office for the area (inside sales &amp credit management)

Team leading

  • Ensure collaboration with other European Country managers to lead the region with the lead of the EU Subs Director
  • Involvement to transversal projects driven by the Headquarters
  • Work closely with the strategic Key Account team in order to implement the go-to-market with national Key Accounts
  • Report to the Management on the define frequency and indicators
  • Office management with support for Global’s back-office functions (HR / Legal / Facilities / Finance / Supply / Marketing)

Sales

  • Initiate a long-term business plan for the country across channel distribution
  • Manage directly national key account business with the Strategic Key Accounts department back up (Join Business Plan/activation/ trade terms)
  • Manage sales representatives to deliver net sales, margin, share of voice and market share
  • Mesure brand performance between sell in and sell through
  • Ensure brand visibility in store and digital on all the sports
  • Manage the Irish distributor

Activation

  • Excecute and implement the activation plan from the global in Tennis, Padel and Badminton to our customers and partners
  • Ensure training for our customers, clubs, coachs, operators
  • Lead activation budgets as part of the overall strategy
  • Show brand awareness in the country
  • Coordinate Premium partnership : Wimbledon / Badminton England Federation

Profil

You have a minimum of 10 years experience in a sales environment in the B2B space, including distribution and activation network management.

You have experience in managing sales teams.

You know the rackets sport sector in UK and its ecosystem (tournaments, clubs, etc.).

You are proficient in wholesale management from supplier side in sportswear industry (potentially FMCG).

You have the ability to negotiate contracts, to carry out interventions in public, internally or externally.

To carry out your missions, you master English. Fluency in French or in Spanish is a plus.

Your ability to analyze and synthesize, your sense of listening, teamwork and your leadership will be assets for this position.
