VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Group Key Account Manager to join our Omnichannel Operations team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!     

The Omnichannel Operations team is responsible for achieving operational excellence, allowing consumers of all VF brands to shop where they want and how they want.

As a Group Key Account Manager, you will drive strategic and operational alignment across multiple VF Key Accounts, enabling brands to maximize their commercial opportunities and brand equity through cross-seeding of initiatives, sharing of best practices, removal of operational blockers and usage of new business models.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, in alignment with brand leadership, VF Key Account Governance and VF central enabling functions.

Specific functions, duties and responsibilities:

Internal connectivity:

  • Coordinate, monitor and support cross-functional internal processes connected to Key Account needs.
  • Support brands in the activation and ongoing execution of transformational initiatives.
  • Monitor and provide visibility on cross-brand performance and consumer KPIs (e.g. sell-in, sell-out, financial plans, consumer data, marketing investments etc.).
  • Support brands with financial planning (2-Year, 1-Year Plans) and execution of the forecast.
  • Disseminate best practices that can elevate brand performance and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate cross-brand efforts to assess and optimize the effectiveness of Marketing investments on Key Accounts.
  • Ensure that emerging brands are adequately supported in identifying and optimizing relevant growth opportunities.

External connectivity:

  • Manage regular touch base meetings with Key Account counterparts.
  • Negotiate VF-level Terms & Conditions with Key Accounts.
  • Collaborate with Key Account counterparts to address and resolve any blockers in operational structure and process management.
  • Explore new business models with both digital and traditional Key Accounts.
  • Enable better representation and visibility of emerging brands with Key Accounts.
  • Coordinate joint workshops and/or pilots with the accounts to improve existing processes and test out new ways of working.

Project Management

  • Schedule key recurring meetings (internal and external) and coordinate meeting preparation by collecting information and building content.
  • Manage regular touch bases and follow-ups with brands and central enabling functions (e.g.  Finance, Strategy, Legal, Supply Chain).
  • Coordinate meeting follow-ups and track progress.
  • Keep key stakeholders regularly informed of workstream updates via meetings, email updates or executive summaries.
  • Ensure an appropriate and effective communication flow to and from brands, across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify and resolve any operational blockers in cross-brand process management.
  • Support the creation of business cases, business decks and executive summaries.
  • Organise project-based workshops and/or pilots.

Skills for Success

  • Solid years of experience in a Key Account Management role.
  • A deep understanding of end-to-end GTM process activities (product, merchandising, marketing, sales, finance, etc.).
  • Ability to develop collaborative and diverse relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • A problem-solving attitude. Great at getting things done.
  • An exceptional team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to seamlessly alternate independent work with more complex team efforts.
  • Ability to connect the dots between strategic vision and execution.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple cross-functional workstreams at once, establishing priorities.
  • High energy, goal-oriented and driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
