POSITION TITLE: SAP EWM Project Manager (m/f/d)
LOCATION: preferred location in Munich/Germany, possible also in Überherrn/Germany or Altenmarkt/Austria or Annecy/France or Krakow/Poland
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As SAP EWM Project Manager you will manage global SAP EWM implementation projects in Amer Sports Distribution Centers. You will lead and support general IT Logistics-related projects and take care of training actions, contribute to standardization of practices, evaluate and propose IT solutions according to business needs in connection with SAP EWM standard.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate implementation, standardize and design EWM solutions in close collaboration with the Distribution Centers
- Identify, analyze and formalize users’ needs with local SAP key users, and translate them into EWM solution proposals for implementation by SAP team
- Conduct training sessions for new functionalities and standardization of processes
- Plan & review tests dealing with new features
- Support sites while implementing new projects and organize the IT work stream
- Review and monitor RFCs (Request for Change)
- Single Point of contact for Supply Chain Management team of Amer Sports SAP team
- Understand WCS (Warehouse Control Systems) in relation to SAP EWM in order to guarantee a smooth running of interfaces
- Connect and align with IT Infrastructure team
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- IT-Affinity and capability
- Logistics process flow thinking and documentation
- Project management
- Knowledge of SAP EWM or other WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
- Good communication skills and pedagogy
- Structured and organized
- Ability to drive team members with a collaborative approach
- Ability and flexibility to work with different time zones and to travel globally
YOUR PROFILE:
- Master’s degree (Supply Chain, IT project management, engineering, business administration) ideal but not mandatory
- Min. 2 years’ experience in IT Project management, ideally in a logistics or industrial environment
- Experience in logistic operations and good IT background and affinity
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- Position also opened for Fresh Graduates (Master’s degree) with a relevant internship or working student experience in IT project management in Logistics/Supply Chain
