POSITION TITLE: SAP EWM Project Manager (m/f/d)

LOCATION: preferred location in Munich/Germany, possible also in Überherrn/Germany or Altenmarkt/Austria or Annecy/France or Krakow/Poland

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As SAP EWM Project Manager you will manage global SAP EWM implementation projects in Amer Sports Distribution Centers. You will lead and support general IT Logistics-related projects and take care of training actions, contribute to standardization of practices, evaluate and propose IT solutions according to business needs in connection with SAP EWM standard.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate implementation, standardize and design EWM solutions in close collaboration with the Distribution Centers
  • Identify, analyze and formalize users’ needs with local SAP key users, and translate them into EWM solution proposals for implementation by SAP team
  • Conduct training sessions for new functionalities and standardization of processes
  • Plan & review tests dealing with new features
  • Support sites while implementing new projects and organize the IT work stream
  • Review and monitor RFCs (Request for Change)
  • Single Point of contact for Supply Chain Management team of Amer Sports SAP team
  • Understand WCS (Warehouse Control Systems) in relation to SAP EWM in order to guarantee a smooth running of interfaces
  • Connect and align with IT Infrastructure team

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • IT-Affinity and capability
  • Logistics process flow thinking and documentation
  • Project management
  • Knowledge of SAP EWM or other WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
  • Good communication skills and pedagogy
  • Structured and organized
  • Ability to drive team members with a collaborative approach
  • Ability and flexibility to work with different time zones and to travel globally

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master’s degree (Supply Chain, IT project management, engineering, business administration) ideal but not mandatory
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in IT Project management, ideally in a logistics or industrial environment
  • Experience in logistic operations and good IT background and affinity
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
  • Position also opened for Fresh Graduates (Master’s degree) with a relevant internship or working student experience in IT project management in Logistics/Supply Chain
