- Creation of a collection plan and definition of areas//concepts to be focused on for the category/sub-segments of corresponding responsibility. Based on the requirements of the 6Cs and in close collaboration with the direct superior
- 6C Management/Ownership: Permanent development of deep and relevant insights in the fields:
- CONSUMER: Important trends and behaviour
- CATEGORY: Development, innovation, newness and success factor in the respective categories, price level structure
- COMPETITOR: Who are our most important and up-coming competitors? What do we have to watch out for?
- COUNTRY: Special requirements and trends in our most important target markets
- CHANNEL: Demands and developments in the major distribution channels
- CUSTOMER: Accompanying and assisting important customers and intensive exchange with the respective sales managers
- Managing the collection development process in close cooperation with the Design and Development team, including additional departments such as Fabric Sourcing, Product Engineering & Allocation
- Preparation and follow-up of milestone meetings that take place as part of the collection development process (Range Meeting, Design Meeting, Prototype Meeting, Range Fixing and Sales Meeting) in close collaboration with the direct superior
- Collection handover to Sales/Marketing: Preparation, presentation, and demonstration of the collection both internally for sales at Sales Meeting and externally at trade fairs and for customers and key accounts (sell-in support for selected customers/countries)
- Organisation/Maintenance of seasonal administration in our “Product Data Management Tool” CP
- Sell-in and sell-out analysis
- KPI calculation and documentation for the evaluation of the respective category performance
Deine DNA für Jack Wolfskin:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the outdoor apparel industry
- Excellent product and market knowledge of the outdoor and sporting goods industry
- Excellent understanding of processes within collection creation and product development
- Must have project management, presentation, and customer skills
- Experience with PLM system is preferable
- Demonstrate skills in data analysis and planning
- Professional written and verbal skills in English
- Confident user of Microsoft Office
- Passionate about the outdoors
- Ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork, organizational and communication skills
