Aqualung Group is currently looking for a sales Account Manager – Dive, with the following job purpose:

– To achieve the annual business plan sales targets for the Dive category (Aqualung and Apeks brands) with a defined portfolio of customers in the UK&I.

– Managing the orderbook from sell-in through forward order and in-season replenishment, to delivery and cash collection.

– Working in close partnership with both sales and marketing departments to deliver brand priorities for Aqualung and Apeks brands, including (but not limited to) excellent brand presentation at the point of sale – online and in-store; customer training on new product lines; local execution of brand – – marketing campaigns; etc.

– Identifying and converting new business opportunities.

– Providing information on current market and future trends, and any other relevant information for use in customer interactions, future product development or marketing activity.

 

Principle responsibilities:

– Regular visits to, and sales service & technical advice for, UK retail outlets. Extended periods of ravel likely for much of the time in role.

– Account management and sales planning to deliver impactful sales presentations to customers and convert to orders.

– Managing the orderbook from sell-in through forward order and in-season replenishment, to delivery and cash collection.

– Sales & market analysis and reporting, as required by the business.

– Coordination and implementation of customer / product promotions

 

Skills and experience:

– Currently scuba diving with a recognised diving qualification.

– Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in order to explain technical products.

– Ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with customers and internal contacts

– Commitment to working as part of a team

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of data accuracy

– Project Management Skills – ability to manage varying tasks and see through to completion

– Able to conduct a sales negotiation to achieve a “win-win” situation

– Demonstrable ability to work independently, plan, organise and prioritise won workload – including journey planning.

A 3 years sales / marketing experience within a consumer goods organisation would be appreciated.
