This is an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Merchandiser to join the eCommerce Merchandising & Trading team in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's talk about the role!

The focus of the eCommerce Merchandiser is to setup and then trade our RENEWED sustainability website, which gives unwanted repaired products another lease of life. This is a brand new role within the Brand and one that will put you in a position to shape future developments.

How you will make the difference

You’ll be the ‘go to’ person driving the processes to make the website operationally and commercially successful, coordinating marketing/site updates and report digital metrics. You will drive other new business areas such as:

  • The Prosumer digital business, you will be the central point to coordinate customer experience, expand product ranges and ultimately achieve the business revenue targets.

  • New market optimization including; support trading with our eComm concession partners; and optimize new Own & Operated markets post re-platforming, for both seeking new ways to improve the digital metrics for these markets liaising with varying teams to achieve increased revenue.
  • Support product data tagging to enhance customer tool usage which in turn increases revenue and lowers friction points.

Furthermore you will:

  • Work closely with eComm Merchandising & Trading Director to drive strategy across TNF EMEA websites.

  • Deliver a robust backend operational process for the Renewed website reviewing inventory supply and always be on the lookout to optimize processes, liaising with internal/external teams to achieve this.

  • Trade the Renewed website from a start-up to a business-as-usual position – with a clear focus on the customer to improving digital metrics.

  • Manage the Renewed website updates, working with digital teams such as Marketing, Media Performance and Product teams to improve digital catalogues, this also includes promotional activity.

  • Track and promote the Prosumer digital business, achieving business KPI’s working with varying stakeholders to increase revenue.

  • Collaborate with eCommerce concession teams/partners to unlock trading opportunities and align the Go To Market strategy

  • Deep drive digital data to optimise the newly opened O&O markets reducing the trading bandwidth.

  • Throughout the activities understand and listen to the customer from direct feedback to reviewing digital journeys then look to enhance.

  • Support the digital catalogue build and internal workflow processes – example product tagging, working with TNF Product teams to support O&O site tools like Finders/Compare

  • No line management accountabilities but expectations are to work closely with external vendors and partners.

What you need to succeed?

This is a digital operational role and you’ll be expected to use ecommerce tools such as internal web platforms, analytics and digital merchandising, internal Search to deliver commercial success. That's why you will bring:

  • Proven work experience in the eCommerce / digital world with hands-on experience working with an eCommerce platform.

  • An understanding of digital analytics, e-Commerce UX, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.

  • The ability to interact with IT development teams to support site enhancements and bug fixing.

  • Excellent ability to analyse data reading what the customer is doing and searching for, demonstrate in a clear and concise manner

  • Building strong partnership with various functions within the organization

  • A commercially aware mindset and a revenue driver

  • Previous experience with digital merchandising tools & working with IT support teams

  • Self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to handle workload independently.
