Napapijiri is looking for an exceptional DTC Planner to join our DTC team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as DTC Planner will be responsible for developing, executing and communicating strategic merchandise plan that support the financial objectives of the corporation for DTC business.

You, as part of the planning team, will work closely with buying team and allocation team, to build pre-season category plan and translating into executable in-season actions.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Develop, review and present Top Down seasonal/monthly plans for DTC business, in accordance with company goals, historical performance and market analysis.

  • Collaborate with planners and allocators to accurately plan and optimize in-season inventory level, while maximizing sales opportunities taking advantage of omnichannel inventory management.

  • Re-forecast sales, discounts, margin and inventory at category level based on changes in trend, strategy, stock availability or business climate.

  • Facilitate monthly Open-To-Buy meeting working closely with Finance and operation planning team.

  • Update and maintain weekly trading report. Communicate business performance highlighting key drivers and key offenders, analysing sales trend and KPIs and sharing insights and action plans with allocators and buyers.

  • Manage in season promos and end of season sales identifying together with buying and operation team the markdown strategy based on sales/stock projection and margin/discount target.

Skills for Success

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset with passion for retail world, with:

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge with previous experience in retail planning.

  • Advantage knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to create reports that meet business needs and data-visualization dashboards.

  • Ability to analyse, present and communicate information in a manner that allows informed decision-making.

  • Ability to understand financial measurement and how to impact them.

  • Trading mentality: ability to work in team maximising communication between different functions, challenge results and information to identify challenges, drive for results and be profit-focused.

  • A University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economic, Statistic, or related fields is required as a pre-requisite.
