VF International is looking for an exceptional Analyst, Supply Chain Finance to join our EMEA team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Lets talk about the role

The general purpose of this role is to execute financial controlling of product cost, custom duties, inbound logistics, sourcing costs and overheads, in addition to inventory provisions. Monitor, analyse and forecast deviations versus standard cost.

The ideal candidate is a young post-secondary education in his/her early career stage, who has strong analytical mindset and technical skills. The person is willing to enter in the Finance Supply Chain team and get knowledge around accounting, finance, controlling and financial planning of the fashion powerhouse – VF.

How you will make the difference:

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the preparation, development and analysis of Supply Chain costs and provision of high-quality support to Supply Chain Finance Manager and Supply Chain teams.

  • Support the team in the month end activities, quarter end processes, monthly forecast and budget preparation.

  • Analyse supply chain cost variance versus standard cost.

  • Data Analytics regarding material cost, product costs, custom duties, inbound freight, inventory write off.

  • Develop analytical tools to analyse and reconcile both Forecast and Actual variances.

  • Support Supply Chain metrics analysis.

  • Prepare Reports and Documentation for standard reporting surrounding inventory and margin variances areas

  • Adapt and engage with creative attitude to roll-out of Supply Chain Projects.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Education: University Degree in Finance or Engineering.

  • Experience: 2-3 years as analyst, preferably in the area of cost controlling.

  • Language skills: Fluent in English, oral as well as written.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems (MS-suite) with emphasis on data relationship database and reporting tools. Knowledge of SAP-FMS is a plus.

  • Soft Skills: Accurate, responsible, can-do attitude, proactive, team-player but able to work independently.
