This is your opportunity to become a core part of On’s US Marketing team and take on the responsibility for bringing On’s Community Marketing to the next level. 


You will be in charge of creating, leading, and implementing On’s Community Building Strategy in North America as part of a wider impactful end-to-end marketing program. In addition, you will step up for Retail related community activities and facilitate effective collaboration between Retail & Marketing Teams around the globe for our community-building aspiration. Thereby, global consistency in the consumer-facing world is as important as ensuring that On’s brand DNA is embedded in regional context and initiatives.  


You will be based out of  On’s North America Headquarters in Portland where most of On’s North America leadership team sits.

Your Mission:

  • Design vision around Community Marketing for On in the US market and derive strategic implications for community building activities for On 
  • Work with Community Marketing teams from APAC and EMEA to create a joint view on Community Vision and how to lead its execution, particularly for On’s own stores 
  • Collaborate with other Marketing stakeholders in the US to develop and organically embed Community Marketing into an end-to-end US market program 
  • Support implementation of Community Marketing activities in the US and create metrics that facilitate impact and success review of such activities 
  • Work with DTC Retail team to develop community programs around On’s own stores and empower local marketing / retail teams to deliver effective results 
  • Lead capability building in both marketing and retail teams to deliver effective community activities and help shaping scaleable ways of working for teams around the globe
  •  Facilitate other initiatives with our Brand Experience & Retail team to embed community building into our store design and customer experience concept. 

Your Story:

  • You have +8 years of relevant work experience in community and brand marketing with high-growth consumer-facing DTC companies,  thereof 4-5 years in a leadership role 
  • Previous experience in working with retail teams is a strong plus  
  • You have an entrepreneurial growth mindset, eager to challenge the status quo with an appetite for relentless improvement 
  • You are highly analytical and enjoy both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform actions
  • You have proven experience shaping excellence strategies and working through many cross-functional topics across time zones to meet objectives.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, but love to also get your hands dirty and do heavy lifting yourself
  • You are excited to travel to different markets
