Let's talk about the role

The Digital Analyst will be part of a global team in charge of the governance and evolution of the digital analytics tools deployed across all VF brands ecommerce platforms and apps. Within the EMEA region, you will be directly supporting the setup and technical maintenance of the tools and promote cross-brand initiatives for enhancements and harmonization, identifying and investigating new solutions and capabilities according to business needs and in line with the global strategy and design.

How You Will Make a Difference

As the Digital Analytics Manager you will be an essential point of contact and business partner to the brand ecommerce teams, helping them providing advanced reporting, measurement reviews, ad-hoc trainings, generic support with the tools. You will achieve this through:

  • As part of the global Digital Analytics team, provide the link with EMEA region brands and central teams within the area of expertise.
  • Guidance and governance on web analytics setup: platforms settings, tag management and tracking implementation, bug fixing. Management and preservation of the setup harmonization, data quality and alignment between platforms.
  • Identification and promotion of new website tracking needs and analytics improvements. Follow up on technical changes, implementation and configuration, in coordination with the global strategy.
  • Administration of the analytics platforms and the tag management systems and key contact for other analytics related products. Coordination of external analytics agencies.
  • Develop reporting capabilities across EMEA business, in alignment with the global strategy.
  • Dedicated support on specific business analysis. Support Senior Management and Business Leaders with ad hoc analysis, cross-brand reports and custom dashboards, highlighting and communicating key findings according to the specific needs and/or kind of audience.
  • Education and training of brand/central team members. Promote, influence and instill trust to key business stakeholders on the use of the tools. Help teams optimize at best the use of all analytics platforms from both a reporting and administrative perspective.

What you need to succeed

  • Excellent knowledge of Tag Management systems (preferably Google Tag Manager).
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with web analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong scripting skills with JavaScript and JS-based libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of web development techniques and principles; proven experience of HTML, CSS.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making.
  • Strong understanding of web marketing technologies and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience in collecting, manipulating, analyzing & presenting data in a clear manner. Ability to communicate complex information in a manner understandable to various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with UX principles and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain effective work performance while under pressure and prioritize as required. Organized, proactive and timely in delivering results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Scripting skills in R or Python would be considered a plus.
