POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Amer Sports global supply chain ensures delivery of the right products, at the right place, at the right time. Our department gathers intelligence from retail customers and consumers, matches it with historical trends and finds consensus between commercial, operations and finance to provide most accurate plans. We leverage the vast global alliance of suppliers, own manufacturing, distribution centres and transportation networks to fulfil customer orders on-time. We are dedicated to provide the best service experience to Amer Sports’ retail customers and consumers of the wide variety of brands and products.

As a Supply Chain Performance Manager, it is your responsibility to build reporting and to develop business. This includes deep dive analytics, conclusion setting and project management in Amer Supply Chains. Needed is a profound transversal coordination ability to work across multiple functions in a global organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops planning concepts and underlying analytics
  • Handles big databases to foster decision processes with advanced analytics
  • Project management with focus on Demand/Supply planning and Stock availability
  • Coordinates breakthrough actions that positively affect consumer experience & group cash
  • Prepares meetings & workshops on management level
  • Works closely with other departments such as Sourcing & Finance
  • Participates in international programs to raise synergy potentials within the Amer-group best practice sharing, training / reporting /planning tools, etc.)
  • Strengthens the supply chain planning function across Amer Sports to ensure adequate inventory levels and service to customer
  • Represents central contact point for any topics linked to operational reporting along the supply chain
  • Develops reports for a sophisticated data landscape to implement a consistent logic for leading KPIs to ensure performance measurement, comparison, and equal evaluation across the group

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • International mindset & Business acumen needed for Supply Chain dependencies
  • Getting work done efficiently in an international, complex, and high-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for solving problems and advanced analytical skills
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid presentation skills and the ability to advice senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects assigned, while demonstrating a team player attitude when working in project teams
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office expert, SAP capable)

 YOUR PROFILE:

  • Self-motivated individual with hands-on attitude and an ability to achieve impact in matrix environments
  • Business studies; ideally focus on Supply Chain Management or Finance
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance or Operations
  • Expertise in supply chain performance management and related IT systems
  • Sports & Outdoor enthusiast
  • Mobility to travel
