We are excited to offer the position of Sales Lead Distributors (LATAM) to an entrepreneurial new member of our diverse team. Together with the LATAM team, and the distribution partners across the region, you will own the growth of On in around ten markets between Mexico and Argentina. From dreaming the future over planning the next year up to supporting the day-to-day, you’ll be the partner in crime to our distribution partners to help them bring our mission to life in their respective markets: ignite the human spirit through movement.
Your Team:
We, the LATAM team, are responsible for developing On across the newly built region LATAM. LATAM is made up of markets managed by distribution partners as well as Brazil, a market that we manage directly with our own team. As we’re combining both to build one region, we’re exploring and defining how to work together as we see the business grow – and planning for even more growth in the future. With this said, we’re a team that’s on the move, enjoying the opportunity to shape and see the results of our work every day. We are based out of Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Your Mission:
- Working closely together with our local distribution partners (five in total), you’ll have full responsibility for the growth and sales development of the brand in our LATAM markets: Mexico, Central America & Caribbean, Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina
- Leading business planning and forecasting, up to 3-5 years as well as on a seasonal and quarterly basis. You are close to daily market developments and sell-out, and adapt today’s actions to achieve longer-term goals as needed
- Working with the local partners to understand On and the communities we’d like to reach, and in what channel with what product. Doing so, you own how we go to market, and ensure that we target the right fans with the right product in the right places
- Thinking 360 and head-to-toe, and ensuring that we build our different verticals (Run, Outdoor, and All Day) and categories (footwear, apparel, and accessories) simultaneously and in sync
- Supporting bringing Direct-to-Consumer into your territory. Finding new ways of collaborating with distribution partners, and working together with the central team at On, you ensure that we develop the brand across channels
- Shaping how we work together across teams, making sure Marketing and Operations are aligned with Sales and work together towards a long-term plan. You act as the first point of contact to our distribution partners and are always in the know of their needs across functions
- Owning the portfolio of partners, and its evaluation and development over time
- Building strong relationships with our distribution partners, championing the On culture to build a strong brand locally
Your Story:
- Degree in business and/or 4-8 years of proven work experience within a sales / commercial role working with distribution partners within the LATAM region
- Experience within the sports or fashion industry that crosses over between wholesale, retail and E-Commerce preferred but not required
- You’re a strong team player. Communication is your key strength; you connect effectively with people no matter what location or culture
- You bring a data driven-mindset and are at ease working with numbers and spreadsheets. You naturally apply a strategic view to what you do, and find joy in bringing plans to life
- You are curious to explore and build, rather than preserve. You feel comfortable in an environment that’s dynamic and requires you to shape your role and how to work with the extended team
- Fluency in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus
