The Role:

As the Payroll Specialist you will care for the monthly payroll process in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium & UK whilst and supporting the wider Deckers EMEA Payroll team as necessary. The role includes administering, checking, and ensuring legal compliance for each country.

Oral and written fluency in English and Dutch or German is needed for this role.

Your Impact:

  • Processing and checking of the Dutch, German, Belgian & UK payrolls.
  • Administrating monthly, quarterly and annual 3rd party declarations/payments e.g. Tax, Social Insurance, meal tickets, Garnishee’s, Pension etc.
  • Administer and Audit Social declarations and payments made by payroll partners
  • Ensure all payroll processes are kept up to date and are compliant with national laws and regulations
  • Monthly payroll journal uploads, accurate and timely
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly payroll accruals e.g. 13th/14th Month, Vacation etc.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure processing accuracy and data integrity
  • Collaborate closely with with internal partners to ensure processing accuracy and data integrity
  • Responsible for the monthly uploads of money movement/Net payments
  • Ensure payroll processes are in line with SOX compliance
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Payroll team on internal projects
  • Ensure to adhere to all company policy and procedures and best practice
  • Work closely with the external payroll provider

We would Love to Hear from People with:

  • Previous experience with administrating the Payroll system for Netherlands, Belgium, UK OR Germany
  • Experience working in a multi-currency organization is a plus
  • Oral and written fluency in both English and Dutch OR German is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge and interest in EMEA payroll
