The Indirect Procurement Specialist – Professional Services plays a critical role in shaping On’s sourcing strategy for topics related to HR, Payroll, Logistics and various other topics that support the agile working environment within On. You will deliver an excellent procurement know-how to our fast moving Talent & Operations team, Finance, Legal and logistics team and work towards improving the internal processes that define our way of working.
Your Team:
The indirect procurement team empowers each individual within On to manage their procurement activities in an easy, effective and value added way. We strive to work together on finding the right sourcing strategy, using best practice to ensure our partnerships are effective and durable. We optimize procurement by delivering and implementing tools to all teams in order to support their core activities. The team aims to find opportunities to reduce cost, work on internal demand, go out to define new global category standards and set On up for future success.
Your Mission:
- Manage sourcing processes for the category of professional services & Logistics
- Proactively collaborate with business partners to lead and manage RFx processes.
- Ensure robust management of key supplier relationships within agreed categories of supply, whilst mitigating risk and delivering operational benefit at all times.
- Ensure supply chain solutions are fit for purpose, aligned to business needs, and represent lowest total cost, optimal service and highest quality with relevant impactful supply base innovation
- Supervise Contracts to track and maintain records for all contractual, quality assurance and scope delivery
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders such as Talent and Operations team. Aimed at identifying, understanding, and fulfilling their requirements.
- Provide key stakeholder support in the sourcing lifecycle – including driving sourcing, RFI, RFP, evaluation, drafting, contracting, on-boarding, negotiations, supplier management, etc.
- Support in shaping the Procurement strategy, policy and processes, which allow us to maintain focus on risk management whilst further developing commercial capabilities and profile.
Your Story:
- 3+ years of sourcing experience within the field of professional services.
- Super entrepreneurial, flexible and nimble, and are able to achieve a lot with limited resources
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment whilst being self-directed and able to work independently
- A track record in managing procurement spend in indirect categories
- Proactive, flexible, and positive personality with excellent negotiation and communication skills. Broad negotiation toolkit and ability to function effectively in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
