Your role:
We are in business to save our home planet. You’ll be helping us achieve this by ensuring that our Patagonia Europe retail stores have the appropriate products and level of inventory to meet their targets. This means to essentially ensure that we have the right products, right quantity, at the right time, in the right size and colors on hand in store.
Main tasks:
• Execute allocation strategy for the season in alignment with Merchandising, planning and channel head
• Manage daily allocation tasks such as running replenishment, review shipping orders, approving store orders and update weekly reports
• Analyze and distribute units according to the right product, right place, right time philosophy across stores. Report to management and action on outcome of these analyses
• Best & slow-seller management, comparing stock vs. sales, and participating in bi-weekly business meetings
• Actively participate in new store openings
• Communicate day-to-day information with the stores in regards to allocation, assortment and supply/inventory
• Create and release pre-season orders to the retail stores
• Align with Product team to initiate PDM (potential discontinued merchandise) orders for outlet stores
• Connect with Logistics, Retail operations and IT regarding optimization of allocation processes

• Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills. Process oriented with the ability to identify solutions to problems and opportunities by analyzing data
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Entrepreneurial mind-set and a pro-active approach to business. Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent EXCEL capabilities, Power BI and/or Tableau experience is a plus
• Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus
Other important details:
• This is a full time position, based in Amsterdam.
• This is a fixed term full-time vacancy, intended to support the team until approximately end of February 2023. If you’re successful in the selection process, we will offer you a contract until end of February 2023.
• We’re working in the office 2-3 days per week, and working from home the rest of the week. We can support employees who need to work at the office more frequently.
