As Production Manager Northern Vietnam, you are in charge of developing and maintaining trusting relationships with our key manufacturing partners, as well as bringing our suppliers and their production performance to the next level.
Your Team:
You are directly responsible for the commercialization follow-up, engineering, continuous improvement, production, and quality of multiple manufacturing facilities in northern Vietnam. You will be based in Hanoi as an important member of the globally integrated supply chain team, with frequent travel throughout northern Vietnam.
Your Mission:
Shape On’s next-level production landscape by establishing excellent relationships with current suppliers, serving as the main point of contact between On and key manufacturing partners in northern Vietnam, and managing the suppliers on a daily basis.
Directly accountable for all order delivery and product quality inspections at manufacturing partners.
Oversee commercialization process to ensure a smooth transition from samples to bulk production.
Lead continuous improvement projects at manufacturing partners’ sites, promoting lean and automated production.
Support sample development and delivery.
Lead and follow up with monthly business reviews with the manufacturing partners.
Live and share our commitment to sustainability and quality, and drive strategic initiatives that set On apart from all other brands.
Your Story:
An entrepreneurial and open mindset, an eagerness for differentiation, and a natural push for excellence.
Several years of experience in production management, ideally in the footwear or apparel industry.
Capability to persuade internal and external cross-functional teams to work toward a common goal through effective collaboration
Highly attentive to detail, function, and quality.
Able to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of product driven companies and the ability to think and act strategically to facilitate growth.
