Project Manager, Construction & Workplace

We are looking for a Project Manager to contribute in shaping the future of On’s global office environments and join us at our Headquarter office in Zurich.

You will combine your project management expertise with your solution driven skills to play a critical role in global office expansion, and open the door to On’s next growth phase

You will be managing the development of our new offices, showrooms and custom products globally. Your blend between project management, analytical mind, process management, creative thinking, and technical expertise will open new ways to drive On into the next growth phase.

Your Team:

As you might expect from a running brand with an emphasis on design and performance, the Construction Management and Engineering Team within the Physical Infrastructure Team is a fast-paced place to be. This new and rapidly expanding team packs a huge punch and leads projects globally related to construction and office space. Together we shape the environments, behavior and culture of the On community. With ambitious and innovative projects in the pipeline, the team is looking for its next all-star!

Your Mission:

• Manage and execute workplace and construction project timelines, schedules and budgets

• Lead general coordination including project kick-off, estimating costs, evaluating bids, negotiating offers, addressing technical issues, maintaining quality control during construction, punch list, turnover, opening, and project move-in.

• Work with consultants, contractors, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.

• Support communication between project teams, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.

• Plan, schedule, organize and execute document control activities in collaboration with internal teams.

Your Story:

• 6+ years of professional experience in construction management and project management including solid experience of coordination and negotiation.

• Organizational wizard skilled in process management and workflow optimization.

• Experience with the full construction project lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.

• Highly motivated, capable of working in a self-driven, entrepreneurial environment both within a team and individually

• Excellent problem solver enjoying coming up with creative solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Great stakeholder management abilities

• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.

• Fluent in English. German is an advantage
