THE ROLE
The Country Sales Manager will play a senior leadership role in a rapidly growing and top priority region as part of FSSC’s global strategy. The role will be responsible for defining the sales strategy for all brands across all channels, and work closely with all functions to drive profitable and sustainable market share growth while respecting the images of FSSC’s brands.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading the business development of all FSSC’s brands in China, identifying and developing new business channels and expansion opportunities
- Responsible for the creation and execution of the short, mid and long-term China sales strategies in order to achieve targets according to the 5YP – Taking full leadership for the entire sales cycle from prospection to sell-through, constantly monitoring the pipeline, tracking results and setting clear targets and action points
- Set pricing policies, negotiate and enforce trade terms
- Build, train and lead a sales team to develop the business -Define brand, channel and regional splits – Manage the team, set their targets and develop future leaders
- Provide guidance and support to the China e-Commerce Manager to achieve omni-channel excellence – Lead the future development of retail strategies
- Work closely with operations and finance to create processes and tools aligning with global policies and goals to ensure local efficiency and high customer service levels are achieved
- Ensure close collaboration between sales and marketing – Co-develop the go-to-market strategy and align marketing plans with sales goals
- Lead seasonal sales forecasting and budgeting processes for the overall Chinese business
- Provide regular feedback to global management on China business performance and market trends
- Support building up the FSSC culture in our office in Beijing and feeling of one team with our global offices
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales leadership position
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Chinese sporting goods / apparel industry
- -T Skills: Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, B2B order systems, Excel – Familiarity of Western digital business tools such as Slack and Zoom as well as local platforms
- Native Mandarin, Fluent English

- Inspiring sales leader with people development skills and the ability to influence across functions at both local and global levels
- Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills for strategy development and decision making
- An understanding of the P&L and experience creating sales and overhead budgets and forecasts
- Consistent track record of achieving sales targets
- Positive and proactive attitude to working in a start-up environment and willing to get your hands dirty
