Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional eCommerce Trading Specialist, to join our eCommerce Digital Trading, Performance and CLM team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You, as eCommerce Trading Specialist,  will be responsible for driving the ecommerce trading agenda of our Timberland own website across Europe by influencing commercial plan definition, leading end to end execution of commercial activities and analyzing vast amounts of data to better understand and predict own ecommerce channel g performance trends to take data informed business decisions.

You will have the full ownership of Timberland EMEA digital trading  activations informing digital Marketing, Buying, Planning, customer analytics and UX teams with actionable insights focusing on ongoing conversion rate optimization.

The work takes the form of strategic ad hoc projects, as well as more routine reporting to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies and tactics

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Defining the eCommerce trading agenda and drive its execution

  • Regularly liaising with the eCommerce performance marketing, eCommerce customer & analytics, Buying & GTM, merchandise planning to implement the right commercial  activations, analyses/insights based on business needs

  • Monitoring own eCommerce channel performance and define commercial strategies and execution to deliver demand target across Europe.

  • Defining bottom-up channel performance expectation to identify potential uplift/gap vs target

  • Conducting advanced customer & trading patterns analyses to define compelling commercial opportunities, including but not limited to country-level, product category, digital acquisition channel, customer segments and studies into recruitment and retention trends

  • Translating data findings/trends into actionable insights to better understand complex shopping behavior making clear recommendations based on deep insights into the data

  • Owning, designing, maintaining and developing performance reports and dashboards that clearly track the effectiveness of strategies underway, in partnership with our Customer and analytics function.

  • Proactively testing and designing new commercial strategies without bias;

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on best practices in eCommerce customer & trading

  • Working closely with VF central team & third-party vendors as needed to ensure integrity of data and analyses being provided

Skills for Success

  • Relevant work experience in fast-paced eCommerce/retail environment

  • Highly performance driven and result-oriented team player with strong business acumen

  • Timberland Brand Ambassador

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence & Analysis software (Cognos, Tableau), Microsoft Office Suite and Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

  • Good understanding of eCommerce customer journey & digital marketing principles

  • Excellent communication skills influencing cross functional teams and senior stakeholder

  • High maturity in managing organizational complexity and effective communication

  • Strategic and operational decision-making

  • Language skills: fluent in English. Any other language will be a plus 

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in related fields are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
