At a Glance:

We are looking for a Trade & Retail Marketing Lead to join the China Marketing Team in Shanghai. The goal of this role is to own the in-store GTM, plan and execute offline channel marketing operation support across DTC retail and wholesale. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented marketing professional to help shape, build and support On’s offline commercial presence across China.

 

Your Team:

As you might expect from a sports brand with running at its core, the China team at On is a fast-paced place to be. You’ll be part of the China Marketing team and co-working with a group of highly motivated individuals but also working closely with On’s global Trade Marketing team. We’re big thinkers and change-makers, constantly reinventing how we do things – questioning the status quo and finding new ideas to try as inspiration strikes us.

 

Your Mission:

  • Strategically develop and execute the in-store GTM roadmap in line with sales and marketing objectives for offline commercial channels.
  • Improve brand presence and campaign execution through trade and retail activation planning, execution and tracking in alignment with marketing priorities.
  • Identify in-store story-telling opportunities with priorities to present brand, technology and products to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal commercial team and external commercial real estate partners and wholesale/specialty partners to identify opportunities and secure marketing resources
  • Work closely with Product VM to adapt creative design for local campaign and project launch
  • Strengthen and support sell-in meetings with strong business mindset

 

Your Story:

  • At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing and/or retail marketing.
  • Track record in sportwear and/or fashion industry.

  • Strong project management skills – coordinating various tasks and schedules at the same time

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to challenge the obvious.
  • Consumer-centric mindset, forward-thinking and enjoy leveraging consumer insights.
  • Considerable experience with a knowledge of digital activation in retail.

  • Proficient in spoken and written in both Chinese and English.
