Logistics Coordinator

At a Glance:

We are looking for a full time Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Zurich. This role will be working within the Supply Chain team and collaborating closely with several stakeholders globally such as our sourcing and warehouse teams as well as logistics service providers. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for various ad-hoc shipping requests, process improvement projects, as well as for handling regular logistics operations to the assigned region.

Your Team:

We work closely as a global team to convert innovative product designs and prototypes into commercialized products and bring them into the hands of customers. We are focused and data-driven but also action-oriented and able to multi-task, we establish and follow processes, but also continuously challenging the status quo and “industry standard”.

Your Mission:

• Responsible for organizing transportation from our suppliers to the distribution centers across the globe
• Taking decision on mode of shipment based on inventory availability
• Daily communication with our team in Asia and our freight forwarders in order to ensure efficient freight management
• Ensure on time delivery at customers place of newly launched product in close collaboration with our customer service and warehouse teams
• Analize operational performance to enable data-driven decision making, identify improvement potential, and report essential KPIs to internal stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional projects centered around efficient handling of product launches, freight management and operations improvements

Your Story:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role or in freight forwarding/carrier industry
• Additional supply chain experience, especially in sourcing, supply planning, and warehousing is an asset
• A strong analytical and quantitative mindset with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making
• Proficiency working with MS Excel is a must
• Fluency in English
• Passion to work with an international team and strong cross-cultural environment
