Atomic is one of the leading manufacturers of wintersports equipment and part of the Amer Sports Corporation. To support our International Marketing Team, located at our head office in Altenmarkt im Pongau / Salzburg we are seeking at the earliest possible date:


Atomic is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and analytical Social Media Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team in Altenmarkt. You will form a key part of the Atomic Global Marketing team and will report to the Head of Digital Marketing. The Social Media Specialist’s role will oversee all company interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on our social media platforms and include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create and execute effective social media marketing campaigns and will combine a strong sense of individual ownership with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


  • Work together with Digital Marketing, Product Marketing and Creative Marketing to optimize the business objectives and identify trends and opportunities online
  • Plan campaigns via all social channels which tie in the overall content strategy and business vision and optimize our profiles
  • Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
  • Have a lead role in the day-to-day maintenance of our social media channels from Facebook and Instagram to LinkedIn, Pinterest and Youtube
  • Collaborate with agencies and other partners
  • Develop and drive project plans, including aspects of community management and pulling together monthly social media reports
  • Pitching ad campaigns, working closely with the business analyst
  • Support the digital team and implement projects
  • Coordinate regional post-launch follow-ups for success tracking and improvements on social media


  • Proven working experience in social media marketing, experience in the Winter Sports industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent English and German copy-writing skills, with the ability to tailor your writing style to channel you are using
  • Demonstrable experience leading, optimizing and managing social media channels, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Talkwalker, Hootsuite) and advertising campaigns
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC social media campaigns on all major search channels
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Business Manager
  • Passion for the outdoors

Compensation for this position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in the wood processing industry. Depending on your personal qualifications and vocational experience, we offer an appropriate payment in excess thereof for this highly responsible activity and opportunities for development in a globally active group of companies.
