At On HQ in Zurich or Berlin, we are looking for a full time Supply Chain Business Intelligence Specialist to join the Global Supply Chain team.

This newly created role will be part of the data analytics team in Supply Chain. Data is a crucial part of Supply Chain’s mission to make great decisions quickly for everyone from shaping strategic roadmap to performing ad-hoc analysis supporting the daily business in Supply Chain. This role will focus on the challenges that arise from expanding data applications in Supply Chain and work with On’s central Business Intelligence team to ensure our development is in line with the core data architecture & governance.

Your Team:

Supply Chain work closely as a global team to convert innovative product designs and prototypes into commercialized products and bring them into the hands of customers. We are focused and data-driven, but are also action-oriented and able to multi-task, we establish and follow processes, but are also continuously challenging the status quo and “industry standard”.

Your Mission:

  • Consolidate data requests from internal stakeholders and resolve in a timely, accurate and efficient manner

  • Conduct audits of data across various sources & systems and monitor its integrity in order to improve data quality

  • Work with Data & Analytics, Engineering to define dimensional models, tables or schemas that support data projects & business processes

  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent tasks and have the capacity and willingness to completely own their lifecycle with minimal oversight

  • Organised and agile, focusing on reproducibility and scalability in a dynamic business context

  • Enthusiastic about innovating, excited to continuously learn and comfortable with ambiguity 

  • Curious and understand existing and new technology trends in the data space

Your Story:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role working with big data

  • Excellent SQL skills

  • A deep understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and ELT concepts

  • Experience investigating data issues and working with a cross-functional team for problem resolution.

  • Good interpersonal skills, you feel comfortable to independently manage internal and external teams and stakeholders on all levels and from different cultural backgrounds

  • You feel comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

  • Ability to document work, issues and communicate standards and requirements.

  • Experience with modern data stack tools (we use BigQuery, dbt and Looker)

  • Experience working with storage, APIs, data pipelines and workflow orchestration in distributed cloud environments
