We are looking for a full time Last Mile Logistics Specialist, to join the Supply Chain team at On Zurich. This role is for someone who has a global and regional mindset, is passionate about everything that is physically happening in between the factories/suppliers and consumers, and strives not only to be in-time, but also to think out of the box to lead the industry standard of excellence and to continuously deliver best-in-class customer experiences. The Last Mile Logistics Specialist will be an important member of the team by supporting the Global Logistics Lead, a key part of the global supply chain organization at On, and will work in close collaboration with supply and demand planning, customer service, customer experience, IT, and marketing teams across the world.

Your Team:

We work closely as a global team to convert innovative product designs and prototypes into commercialised products, and bring them into the hands of customers. We are focused and data-driven, but are also action-oriented and able to multi-task, we establish and follow processes, but are also continuously challenging the status quo and “industry standard”.

Your Mission:

  • Support Global Logistics Lead (Team of 6) in executing projects supporting On’s growth including; 

  • Evaluating, implementing and monitoring distribution strategies, processes and plans

  • Ensuring cost-efficient and customer-centric last mile solutions

  • Negotiating contracts with couriers and trucking companies to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements

  • Logistics network analysis to enable global logistics network design, reverse logistics, and new technology implementation

  • Monitoring of KPIs with distribution service providers and following up to understand root causes for anomalies, develop corrective actions, and establish global SOPs across service providers and manage relationships to ensure highest service level and smooth operations

  • Continuous improvement in distribution processes, identify areas to achieve better cost efficiency while improving quality and performance

  • Interact with internal Stakeholders such as Sales Representatives, Head of Operations and Customer Service Reps to further streamline processes & communication between On and its Logistic Service Providers (LSP)

Your Story:

  • 2 plus years of experience in a similar role and within logistics, preferably in an international logistics environment

  • Excellent analyzing and distribution management skills

  • Detail oriented, data driven, with a good understanding of what matters in delivering good customer experience and ease of doing business

  • Ability to take initiatives, multi-task and prioritize, to think and react in a high-energy and fast-paced environment

  • Good understanding in ERP system and TMS (Transportation Management System)

  • Proficiency in English & Excel
