As the Visual Merchandising Lead – EMEA (m/f/d), you are to implement the brand’s global Visual Merchandising strategy in the EMEA region, that detail market leading retail & training experiences, layouts, fixture placement, product presentation, display & brand excellence strategies that reinforce the brand vision in the region. The Visual Merchandising Lead – EMEA aims at fostering conversion rate for Brand Stores and Factory Outlets, and for wholesales partners branded spaces, while delivering exceptional instore consumer experience.

You will work as part of the EMEA Retail & Trade Marketing Team in close partnership with all regional marketing stakeholders in a fast-paced and exhilarating environment. If you were the Visual Merchandising Lead – EMEA, now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Delivering global consistency of VM excellence within retail and wholesale, including key accounts to maximize sales, profit, and global brand positioning in the EMEA region
Recommending sales data based merchandising assortments to commercial teams and key accounts at sell-in to be consistent with seasonal initiatives and VM strategy, and to optimize stores product capacity
Providing briefs, assets and guidelines, sign off of VM executions from retail VM leads and freelance regional Visual Merchandisers
Managing a team freelance Visual Merchandisers to deliver VM strategy in wholesales branded spaces
Producing relevant content & deliver inspirational VM training workshops and tools to stakeholders within retail and wholesale to drive awareness of VM excellence in EMEA
Planning and leading VM training initiatives for new store openings, new season launches, products drops & provide valuable insights on the success of VM directives to the global VM team
Partnering with the global VM Manager to develop & evolve VM directives
Supporting VM executions with guidelines for the openings of new Brand Stores
Creating floor plans to optimize customer flow and product experience at Brand Stores
Collaborating with RBE & Store Design to ensure the category strategy, seasonal story-telling focuses, and Brand Vision land in store
Providing real time feedback to the global VM and Product Merchandising teams on in-store VM execution to influence future global product framework and assortment strategy & ensure the retail teams, stores’ VM leads, Regional Managers (RM), Market Managers, & relevant regional Marketing team members fully informed on all VM updates
Planning and conducting & conduct routine in season market visits to coach & mentor the store teams on VM, providing motivating & constructive feedback to hold the store teams accountable for championing a premium retail experience
Partnering with the RMs to guide & facilitate the growth & development of the Brand Stores VM Leads, responsible for establishing & maintaining a strong network of experienced VM leads across your region
Managing the EMEA visual merchandising budget

Calculating and adjusting the optimal product capacity of stores
Analyzing sales data to create and optimize assortments, and developing strategies and processed to optimize and facilitate assortment planning
Planning and adjusting assortments to fit regional requirements and individual store needs, ensuring store assortments are aligned with seasonal marketing and visual merchandising strategy
Driving alignment with global strategy and objectives
Are you our next Visual Merchandising Lead – EMEA?
You have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Art & Design, Marketing or Business Management, or a related field
You have 4+ years Visual Merchandising experience with outdoor or sportwear apparel including 2+ years experience in a Visual Merchandising supervisory role
You have experience managing a budget with strong organizational skills
You have excellent planning, organising & project management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
You are passionate about Visual Merchandising with an eye for detail & keen to progress with a career in retail
You are enthusiastic & creative with a flair for design and color with an interest in popular culture & current trends
You have effective and efficient time management skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills
You have a strong understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry, and the key outdoor activities we make product for
You demonstrate the ability to work well across diverse teams and departments to establish consensus or drive solutions
You are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 & experience with InDesign, Mock shop & AutoCAD
You are willing and able to travel as required (trade shows, key dealer presentations, key vendor meetings, core consumer events, new store openings, new season launches etc.) up to 50% of your time
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration with the ability to work with minimal supervision
