ABOUT THE POSITION

As our future Account Logistics Representative, you’ll join our International Distributors business and be directly part of the Account Operations team.

The Account Logistics Representative provides operational solutions and support around general business, with a high focus on the preparation and execution of the shipping season as well as mid to long term improvements and supply chain strategies in coordination with the management for a designated geographical zone.

This role also has a cross-functional responsibility with the Account Operations team, with a focus on the Account Services Representative responsible for the same geographical area. The Accounts assigned to this role represent a variety of processes and Supply Chain complexity.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At the time of the:

  • Pre-seasonal execution:  The Account Logistics Representative takes the necessary steps in order to insure his Accounts are properly set up for the good seasonal sale and execution of their orders. This includes, and not exhaustively:
    • The new Account engagement: Account profiling set up, initial operational requirements management (Standard Operating Procedures SOP, LSP list, etc.) & visibility sharing to related parties,
    • The lead on work linked to seasonal execution preparation (control master data set up, SOP, etc.),
    • The organisation of conference calls & meetings internally and externally around Accounts pre-seasonal preparation,
    • The issuance of supporting documentation for exception processes,
  • Seasonal execution:  The Account Logistics Representative is responsible for the good seasonal execution of her/his Account orders and gives support on problem resolution when issues are either recurrent and/or significant. This includes, and not exhaustively:
  • The preparation of consolidation plans, the monitoring of transfers and the timely transfer of orders,
  • The communication with the Distributors and internal partners on the delivery performance,
  • The interaction as strategic contact with the Distributors and internal partners in case of significant delivery flow deviations from forecast and/or guidelines, in order to discuss and validate the requirement feasibility,
  • The good collaboration with the Account Services Representatives on strategic topics, especially if any significant deviation from normal execution or to support control of financial risks.
  • Post seasonal execution:  This role analyses the execution performance of the past season and initiates action plans that will support the optimisation of best practices, standardisation/globalisation, efficiency and transformation of the supply chain. This includes, and not exhaustively:
  • The proactive implementation of key performance indicators (KPI) that allow execution quality analytics and action planning at the time of the post seasonal review,
  • The identification of key gaps and opportunities to improve the Distributors’ profitability, 
  • The definition and work on short to mid-term strategies with the Distributors to drive continuous operational improvements (lead action planning & preparation of future steps such as EDI connectivity),
  • Leadership with key internal partners on Distributors’ operational activities including operational reviews, quarterly summaries, monthly meetings, and account visits,
  • Global thinking and acting with the permanent aim to standardise rather than create exceptions.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Successful experiences with Customer Service, supply chain or Forwarding and/or Planning within international business (BtoB) is mandatory.
  • An Apparel/footwear industry experience would be a strong asset. An experience working for a FMCG Company would be an asset as well.
  • A first Key account Order management experience
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, C Functions)

YOU ARE

  • Available for a Fixed Term contract from May/June 2022 for 7 months.
  • Perfectly fluent in English. French would be a plus.
