VF International is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, Supply Chain Finance to join our Supply Chain Finance EMEA team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You, as Senior Manager Supply Chain Finance, will be the strategic financial partner to the Supply chain brand organization. You will collect and analyze both financial and Supply Chain information to support the business partners in effective decision making.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Leading and driving the team in the month end activities, quarter end processes, monthly forecast, annual budget and strategic planning

  • Management of risk and opportunity reporting in the months we do not run a forecast cycle

  • Preparing and reviewing consolidated management and financial reports for financial review with CFO Supply Chain, highlighting and analyzing the variance on the main performance indicators, followed by timely recommendations

  • Providing financial analysis and planning information around product cost, custom duties, inbound logistics, sourcing costs and overheads, in addition to inventory levels and related provisions

  • Driving development of analytical tools to analyze and reconcile both Forecast and Actual variances vs cost targets

  • Leading the set up of Standard cost and analysis of variances, evaluating when Standard costs are at risk and proposing corrective actions

  • Driving Supply Chain metrics analysis

  • SOX controls surrounding areas of inventory and related provisions, margin variances and standard cost settings

  • Leveraging the existing and upcoming accounting systems/ERP/BI tools to drive better efficiency and continuous workflow improvements, while critically reviewing existing business and financial processes, recommending and driving enhancements with business partners.

  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and management presentations for reviews with Senior Management team

  • Leading assigned projects through effective collaboration with Supply chain team, Finance and other stakeholders

Skills for Success

You will be a professional with proven experience in business controlling and financial planning, with a strong analytical mindset and proven records to drive operational improvements and business efficiency. You will need to have the leadership presence, confidence to present financial information to Supply Chain & Finance Leadership and:

  • Multiple years' experience in a multinational company in Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Experience in financial analysis, budgetary and forecasting processes in a Sourcing/Manufacturing organization

  • Solid software and PC skills (Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong English command (written and verbal)

  • Experience on FP&A software or management reporting system, such as SAP and BPC

  • Strong process and continuous improvement mindset, passion to drive changes

  • Ability to drive a results-oriented culture and an atmosphere of accountability

  • Excellent organizational skills & goal-oriented

  • Proficient knowledge of international accounting principles and controlling methods

  • Self-initiative, independent and able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities

  • Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner

A University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration is required.
