Kipling EMEA is looking for an exceptional Senior Allocator DTC to join our Planning, Buying & Allocation team based in Antwerp, Belgium.

Let’s talk about the role!
As Senior Allocator DTC, you will be responsible for the stock levels in our 90+ DTC doors. You will lead the full in-store product lifecycle from launch till end of season sale in all our channels: Full Price, Outlet and Concession doors. You will make sure that all these channels are equipped with the right stock, during every step of the in-store lifecycle. You will be working closely together with the Field & Operations teams to maximize the sales and margin, sell-through and bottom-line profitability following Kipling’s Brand direction and vision. In our Planning & Allocation team, you will lead 2 allocation support team members and partner closely with the Senior Planner DTC.
In this role you will report to the Buying, Planning & Allocation Manager at Kipling.
How You Will Make a Difference

Making sure that all our doors are equipped with the correct assortment and depth, by setting and maintaining ideal stock targets on a weekly base (Modelstocks)

Updating and analyzing KPI’s like stock in store, business sell out and sell-throughs to get the most efficient stock allocation, both Top-Down, as Bottom-up. Inventory efficiency is key.

Driving problem solving for stock related issues and shipments.

Executing all merchandise specific promotional activities, following marketing and sales calendars.

Collaborating closely with people in the field, by sharing analysis and insights.

Leading the development of 2 allocation team members, who will support you to get the right product at the right location at the right time.
Skills for Success

3-5 years of experience in a similar analytical role like retail allocation, order management or related fields

The ability to assess facts/results and make appropriate business decisions. KPI analysis will be key.

Proactivity and analytical mindset – ability to respond quickly to our fast-changing retail environment and store needs with the right actions and decisions

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements

A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, above all Excel Access and Power BI are a big plus.

Excellent communication skills, to partner with all different stakeholders

A superior eye for details, as in Retail it’s all about the detail

Excellent time management and prioritizing skills. Flexibility will be key

The ability to lead & motivate people, as you will be responsible for the development of 2 allocation support team members

Fluent English (both spoken & written), any other European languages are a plus

Prior knowledge of SAP is helpful
