Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional eCommerce Performance Marketing Specialist, to join our eCommerce Digital Trading, performance and CLM team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You, as eCommerce Performance Marketing Specialist, will be responsible for driving our performance marketing agenda by steering external marketing agencies and coordinating budget investment. You will be planning, briefing, monitoring, and reporting all paid media campaigns as well as driving the SEO agenda of our own Timberland ecommerce.

Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, you will have the ownership of Timberland EMEA performance marketing activations in close alignment with our eCommerce trading, customer analytics, Buying, Planning, and UX teams.

The work takes the form of strategic ad hoc projects, as well as more routine reporting to measure the effectiveness of strategies and tactics.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Building paid and SEO strategies for Timberland and drive their end-to-end execution to deliver commercial targets.

  • Driving alignment and consistency among our main Brand campaigns and performance marketing tactics.

  • Liaising with external media agencies to roll out paid media campaigns and SEO optimization.

  • Teaming up with cross functional Team to ensure best effective campaigns, from consumer targeting to creativities definitions and campaigns launch.

  • Coordinating and monitoring performance budget investment and allocation.

  • Regularly liaising with the Brand Team, eCommerce trading, customer & analytics, Buying & GTM, merchandise planning, Central VF Teams to implement the right commercial activations.

  • Defining bottom-up channel performance expectation to identify potential uplift/gap vs target

  • Leading performance campaign reporting: monitor and share channels’ result and provide weekly, monthly, final campaign reporting and insights

  • Translating data findings/trends into actionable insights to better understand complex shopping behaviour making clear recommendations based on deep insights into the data

  • Owning, maintaining and developing performance reports and dashboards that clearly track the effectiveness of strategies underway, in partnership with our customer and analytics function

  • Proactively testing and designing new commercial strategies without bias.

Skills for Success

  • Experience: experience in a Digital marketing role and strong knowledge of digital marketing KPI

  • Marketing / Communications bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience

  • Relevant work experience in fast-paced eCommerce/retail environment with strong business acumen

  • Experience in working in multicultural teams, excellent ability to work against deadlines. Attention to detail, enthusiastic, pro-active person.

  • Knowledge of Google/Adobe Analytics, Excel is a mandatory requirement

  • Knowledge of performance marketing tools: ADS360, DV360, Meta/Facebook business manager, Microsoft advertising is a plus.

  • Feeling confident to work with customer audiences and target paid campaigns.

  • Good understanding of onsite eCommerce customer journey

  • Excellent communication skills influencing cross functional teams and senior stakeholder

  • Maturity in managing organizational complexity and effective communication

  • Strategic and operational decision-making

  • Language skills: fluent in English.
