As part of the global eCommerce team, your primary focus will be to develop our direct to consumer online business and manage mid to large scale projects in line with our vision and strategic roadmap. This role will require collaboration across many functions, both internally & externally with global counterparts, helping to bring digital initiatives to life. This role is critical to the overall success of the direct to consumer business by ensuring successful project launches across markets, including all brands.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Management of larger strategic projects, new functionalities and technical integrations to advance the ecommerce customer experience and channel growth
  • Use of analytics tools and data-driven insights to identify and prioritize projects and development of business cases
  • Research and evaluation of 3rd party and internal solutions for prioritized business needs
  • Gathering of requirements for project scoping, development and execution of project plans, and regular update of status for stakeholders
  • Collaboration with all members of the eCommerce team and cross-functional stakeholders to keep relevant projects on schedule and within budget
  • Ensure smooth project launch and post-launch by developing training and change management initiatives for impacted team members
  • Driving stakeholder management with relevant teams for risk mitigation, issue escalation and resolution
  • Participation in recuring meetings with supporting functions and external vendors
  • Development and maintenance of process documentation for continuity and reference purposes
  • Management of cross functional project teams

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in Ecommerce Operations or Digital Project Management ideally in Outdoor, Apparel or FMCG industry
  • Experience with Ecommerce systems and content operations
  • Project management experience as well as first experience in the area of business development is required
  • Experience in managing external service providers
  • Excellent problem identification and reporting skills
  • Understanding of e-commerce site architecture
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
