Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. You’ll be helping us achieve this by leading our customer data project: running our customer data platform, maintaining it, implementing new features and activating the data with the goal to drive impactful customer experiences and serve our communities.

Main tasks: 

• Coordinate the customer data platform (CDP) implementation with a vendor (based in the US), with a focus on facilitating and ensuring correct data integration between the platform and our current systems. Additionally, perform data validation and identify areas that need troubleshooting.

• Create a roadmap and execute – together with the vendor and the Data Engineer – based on business needs, the integration of new data sources into the CDP as well as integration with new downstream platforms and reporting tools. 

• Analyze customer data and build reports to enhance broader customer understanding and generate data-driven insights to inform marketing decision making, business intelligence and strategy.

• Define customer segmentation: advise on and execute customer segmentation, identify and support building relevant customer journeys and analyse their performance.

• Set up relevant marketing automations; build and present reports showing efficacy of automations, customer behavioral and transactional insights. 

• Execute and optimize a program that focuses on community growth, activation and retention.

What we’re looking for:

• A love of the outdoors

• A passion for saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work

• Experience in the implementation and maintenance of customer data management and CRM systems

• Tech and digitally savvy, proficient in Excel and connecting large data sets from multiple sources, performing data validation and interpretation

• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and analytics / Business Intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI and Tableau

• Understanding of eCommerce site architecture and maintenance.  

• Familiar with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and data compliance requirements

• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus

It’s a plus if you also have the following:

• SQL and Google Big Query knowledge is a big plus

Other important details:

• This is a full time position, based in Amsterdam

• We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
