Vans is looking for an exceptional Digital Marketplace Manager to join our Strategic Accounts team in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's talk about the role

The Digital Marketplace Manager will be responsible to support and drive the implementation of our Marketplace Strategy (MPS) reset through the lens of Digital Acceleration within selected clusters in EMEA: Digital Key Accounts, Action Sport Accounts and Pinnacle Lifestyle accounts.

You will unleash and align a cross functional journey around our strategic choices with the aim to empower every functional decision makers and main stakeholders to inform swift action-oriented decisions, enhancing our seasonal planning and execution mainly around Digital Key Accounts.

As the Digital Marketplace Manager you will ensure a proper planning is done accordingly to MPS 2.0 principles, aligning and driving proper action plans across functions/territories/channels. You will do this through:

MPS 2.0 – From planning to execution     

  • Starting from our Brand strategic choices and our Brand seasonal priorities, envision the right level of expectations and intensity by market and partner to assess and challenge planning

  • Discipline functions across mains MPS milestone (from GTM0 to seasonal Go-Live) to facilitate dialogue and ownership. Drive MPS 2.0 process

  • Work with SAT team to analyze deeper the MPS reporting set and challenge Sales Leadership to course correct seasonal trajectories on marketplace expectations and brand choices            

  • Clearly give a priority focus to Wholesale by coordinating the seasonal distribution and brand activation planning for the MPS accounts with Sales, Merchandising and Marketing teams for the key seasonal stories  

  • Be point of contact for X-Functional team to execute & continually improve the process 

  • Manage and help facilitate any global distribution strategy changes and updates

Manage MPS 2.0 Service Model review

  • Support the seasonal target/KPI setting process and be a business partner for Multi-Channel Business Operations and Finance Teams

  • Seasonal planning conversion: identify gaps and encourage problem solving in collaboration with local markets, sales directors and cross functional teams

  • Be a force for recommendation to qualify current service model or suggest future evolution accordingly to business needs

  • Support and educate future users regarding available BI tools, to assess Vans fair share at category/merchandising level

GTM & Account Engagement Meeting process management

  • Part of the GTM core team to help coordinate and addressing sales team needs/requests

  • Collaborate with GTM Director

  • Support Multi-Channel Business Operations team to define and set seasonal KPIs

  • Coordinate seasonal brief inputs from Sales to Merchandising team

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years' of sales experience with major lifestyle brands preferably in KAM or Field Sales manager function

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, expert Excel user)

  • Solid knowledge of report building and analysis tools

  • Solid knowledge of ERP systems

  • Results oriented / Problem solver / Risk taker / Innovative thinking

  • Capable to understand complex processes and manage multiple priorities accordingly

  • Great in building relationship with various departments and strong communication skills
