We are looking for a charismatic, passionate, and experienced individual to join our Customer Success team in the role of Account Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with some of the action sports, fashion and outdoor industry’s leading manufacturers, assisting their sales team and retailers with navigating the Elastic Enterprise Platform. The job location is in Paris, alternatively in Barcelona, and remote work is also a possibility.

Your primary objectives in this position will be to develop, support, and grow the business and relationship between existing and newly on-boarded Elastic Enterprise clients/brands. Identify key stakeholders for each brand and become a trusted advisor, aligning our goals with their goals. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Project Management teams to provide exceptional service, drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and ensure a high retention/renewal rate.

Responsibilities

Manage the long-term success and retention of Elastic Enterprise clients

Support the client’s goals and objectives by fully understanding their business, including sales and merchandising goals, GTM strategies, rep and retail user acumen, and identify and support areas with opportunity for positive change

Develop strategies and opportunities to drive near and long-term vision for a lasting and mutually beneficial partnership

Communicate the value of Elastic throughout all levels of brand leadership and strong relationships with key influencers/stakeholders

Maximize client and user health, success, and engagement by initiating business reviews, site audits, and analyzing user feedback/statistics

Be an expert on everything Elastic

Design and execute training content to coach and manage adoption and retention including brand specific sales rep and retailer training

Ensure client is set up with the best Elastic solution to meet their business needs

Requirements

3+ years of experience in retail and/or wholesale sales, buying, merchandising, account management or another client facing leadership role

English fluent (German, Italian, French is a plus)

Strong interpersonal, customer care and leadership skills

Experience in working with complex, multi-divisional and multi-geographical customers

Impressive executive presence and communication abilities

Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations, solve problems and design effective processes

Comfortable multi-tasking and juggling competing/changing priorities

Passion for technology and for being an integral part of a fast-growing company

Understanding of retail and/or wholesale selling processes

Understanding of SaaS, ERP, and mobile software

Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, product, marketing, IT)

Education/Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Experience with MS Office (particularly Excel)

Experience with GitHub and Smartsheet a plus
