Eastpak is looking for an exceptional Trade Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team based in Antwerp, Belgium.

Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager and working closely with other stakeholders within the team, the Trade Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and creating and reviewing all tools that are used by our sales teams to optimize and deliver sell in activities.

For each seasonal and special collection introduction you will be responsible for evaluating which tools are appropriate, and introducing new and innovative thinking to keep sales and accounts motivated and engaged. You will look for ways to improve and optimize these tools and how you will create and distribute them. 

This position will take a key and active role in insuring the business is delivering best in class sales tools to help support and drive sales, always looking to develop the established methods and answering to the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities: 

Sales Team Connection

  • Be the connection between the global sales and the global marketing functions. Regularly connecting with the sales leads to understand the challenges, needs and opportunities of the markets.

  • Report key findings back to global marketing leads to help determine the best methods and evolutions for seasonal support.

Creation of Eastpak seasonal digital catalogue and sales sheets

  • For each of our three seasons you are responsible for supplying our sales team with a package of assets to support their pitch in showroom or on the road. 

  • Together with a graphic designer, create these tools on time for the seasonal launch, evaluate them, improve and optimize where possible and distribute them to our network of reps and agents in all markets.

  • Work closely throughout each season with the technical support team for our digital sales tool to anticipate and resolve any issues that might occur. 

Product data management 

  • Together with our product team you keep a flawless database of all product specifications allowing you to create consistent tools for all purposes.

Sales inserts.

  • For in season introductions, or local SMU's we provide a tailormade package of assets ranging from single page inserts to dedicated online catalogues.

  • Processing the information and visual assets for each introduction and together with the sales and brand marketing management decide on the correct set of tools for each introduction. Create and distribute these tools. 


  • In line with the seasonal sales tools you are responsible for creating product hangtags, from development to the placement guide for the tags on the product. 

Promotional items

  • Assure a continuous creation of brand right (consumer) promotional items

  • By keeping a close eye on the stock of promotional items and planning orders accordingly you maintain a 'never out of stock' status for our promotional items.

Trade tools budget management

  • Work within assigned budget and manage invoice flow.

Skills for Success

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.  

  • 2-3 years of experience in relevant positions

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent in experience

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Able to read business figures and react against it

  • Strong inter-personal & communication skills: communicating, relationship building, influencing others with all departments and levels of our organization

  • Ability to execute against multiple priorities

  • Digital mindset

  • Affinity to lifestyle fashion

  • Strong multitasker with great organizational and planning skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (you'll use it for proofreading materials)
