Purpose

Support the implementation of global supply planning strategies for bulk and samples in line with corporate objectives horizontally for all Business Units. Be the Planning partner of choice, responsible for translating Brand ambitions into tactical requirements. Provide actionable insights, while establishing and maintaining a Global Planning framework that can be leveraged across all BUs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all sales samples related activities incl. calendar setup, purchase order management, internal customer delivery follow-up in close coordination with teams from various functions & locations globally, targeting the achievement of the defined service level agreement
  • Support implementation of new ideas and enhancements to streamline and improve sample and bulk processes, constantly adapting to changing business needs
  • Support BU Planning relevant processes such as consolidation, product priority handling, Rough Cut Capacity Planning to optimize capability utilization and support maximum availability performance
  • Operate within global planning framework (processes, policies, calendars) while supporting BU specific needs through differentiated services (e.g. exceptional planning processes for collaborations, events)
  • Support seasonal set up and maintenance of planning parameters and master data
  • Support the key contact for planning systems related matters including specifications, training, and testing
  • Collaborate and align effectively with BU Planning community, globally, to ensure broad adoption of policies, procedures, and timelines across locations

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Service-minded and consumer/customer oriented in all day job matters
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and personal presence, with proven ability to interact, influence and convince at management level
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (mainly accustomed to MS Excel & MS Access)
  • Comfortable with learning internal systems such as Supply Chain Planning and Execution software applications (e.g. PDC, PDM, Flex PLM, Microstrategy)
  • Fluent English language skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to be self-directed and to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at all levels of the organization and to lead discussions in small and larger groups
  • Teamwork skills are critical, along with being able to manage multiple tasks

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
