We are currently seeking a dynamic and strongly motivated candidate who is passionate about digital marketing to join our team as Search Engine Marketing Coordinator (SEO & PPC).

At Vans we look at SEO & PPC as two sides of the same coin, which is the Search Engine Marking.

SEO & PPC have the same goal of driving qualified traffic to our site. Linking them together allows to achieve the best reach and visibility in the digital space.

The Search Engine Marketing Coordinator will lead and manage the execution of SEO & PPC activities and projects.

Our ideal candidate is very experienced in SEO and has PPC experience has an analytical mindset, a good content marketing knowledge, a strong passion for digital marketing and new technologies.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and end to end projects, including analysis, on-site technical optimization, content creation and off-site optimization projects (e.g. link-building)

  • Monitor daily the performance of our websites using SEO tools and Google Search Console and suggest opportunities for improvement

  • Monitor keyword ranking to identify poor performing keywords for improvement and areas of opportunity

  • Work closely with Media Agency and different vendors (Google, Microsoft…) to plan, develop, execute and monitor PPC strategies in EMEA market to maximize paid search visibility and increase qualified traffic, leads and overall revenue

  • Find opportunities and implement actions to set up a synergy between PPC and SEO (ex. use ppc data to get content ideas; optimise landing pages etc.)

  • Perform daily account & budget management of pay per click accounts

  • Create performance reports and share insights

  • Engage and work closely with other teams within (Content, Merchandising, UX) in order to define and execute SEM strategies, in different languages

What you need to succeed?

  •  Passion for Vans and the lifestyle it represents

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 3+ years of experience working on SEO with some PPC experience, previous experience on e-commerce is required

  •  Previous experience in retail or fashion industries is a plus

  • Strong practical knowledge of technical SEO aspects and experience with SEO content planning and creation

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript

  • Experience and strong capabilities working with SEO tools (SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, ecc)

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and UX

  • Experience with Google AdWords, Microsoft Ads (Yandex would be a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to provide clarity on complex problems to a variety of stakeholders in a clear and concise way.

  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally and in teams

  • Reliably proactive, motivated, enthusiastic, and focused on achieving great results

  • English Native speaker or equivalent is required; knowledge of second language is a plus
