Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

The HR Strategy & Governance team is a new team that is currently being built up.

The team is responsible for setting and driving the HR vision, operational HR strategy, and hiring needs. The team owns the global process governance concept, drives efficiency, cost and end to end compliance for all HR operations, technology, vendor governance and project management in collaboration with GBS. It is responsible for the HR budget and cost tower. In addition, the team drives HR’s strategic planning by orchestrating a holistic strategy process and playing an active role in strategy creation, planning and process for execution and acts as a HR Head Office and provides CHRO support.

The Assistant Manager HR Planning & Oversight assist and supports the Senior Director HR Planning, Oversight & Financial Management and team in HR´s strategic planning process and on translating the HR strategy into actionable goals. This includes supporting the preparation of the HR Roadmap, the overall HR change portfolio management, incl. budget and resource planning, phasing and prioritization as well as implementation status oversight.

We are looking for a candidate that has an entrepreneurial spirit and is keen to support building up this team and the related tasks on a greenfield. This offers a very divers job environment with exciting and varying tasks but also requires the need to be flexible, open, and adaptable to changing and new requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • In alignment with the Senior Director HR Planning, Oversight & Fin. Mgmt and the other team members:
  • Assist the team in all tasks around the HR strategy planning, the planning of the HR change portfolio as well as the HR change implementation oversight
  • Provide support to the team’s portfolio of initiatives in terms of research, analysis, document creation and preparation
  • Execution of administrative tasks for the team such as travel, procurement/vendor management, invoicing, communication, document creation, event management, logistics and scheduling
  • Set up meetings and workshops, summarize results, compile updates and conduct debriefings
  • Assist the team with HR Coordination Board management incl. supporting the preparation of meetings and GBS, TECH, CIO liaison
  • Support the team to prepare the Tech Program Board where the SVP HR Strategy & Governance is a representative

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration, Project Management or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Experience in a cross-functional and international environment beneficial
  • Ability to maneuver in consistently changing environment
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
