Eastpak is looking for an outstanding Digital Planner to join our Digital Buying and Merchandising team based in Antwerp, Belgium.

The Digital Planner serves as the business manager for part of the product portfolio of digital wholesale channels working with the Buying, Operations & DKA teams to translate the planner’s vision into profitable results. Creates the seasonal collections to achieve the sales and profit targets in DKA channels using the most current trends in the marketplace combined with evaluations of the business performance and company direction for their area of responsibility. You will ensure that the nature, quality, and timeliness of product is consumer focused and supports the brand strategy.
We expect that our Digital Planner will deliver unbeatable results whilst also fulfilling the following aspects of the role:
Monitor performance KPIs, produce sales analysis and budget reports
Build predictive tools, planning & LRP tools to steer trading actions & the effect on margin, profitability
Provide financial control and communication of performance
Prepare the buy proposal for our digital wholesale channels for both in-season assortment & exclusives
Advise DKA Team of excess stock and sold out products during the pre-season campaign, offering product alternatives where available
Maintaining stock levels
Ad hoc projects and sales analysis
KPI analysis; Sales, Initial Margin, Net Margin, Sell-through%, Inventory Turns, GMROI, Markdown, OTB Variance
What you need to succeed?
3-5 years’ experience in planning/buying or related fields
Strong analytical & planni ng skills
Strong knowledge and daily use of Excel
Strong process engineering and Data mining mind set
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to build long term relationships & communicate with a wide range internal and external parties
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle large volumes of work independently
A team player, sharing skills and ideas to ensure the best outcome
Solutions oriented with a curious & creative mindset
Interest in bags and backpacks segment
