Digital is the single biggest opportunity we foresee towards the upcoming years, with digital wholesale (online sales through our Partners digital touchpoints e.g. websites and apps) being a key contributor to this growth. The key purpose of the Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) organization is to ensure we grab the full potential with our key digital partners (e.g. Pure players, eMarketplaces and omnichannel retailers) and deliver a premium online presentation to compete in a multi-brand environment.

The Digital Experience on our account’s digital platforms  is a must-win battle in this digital environment, making sure our brands and products can be seen, found, and bought. Perfect content execution will drive organic visibility, consumer engagement and conversion, and seamless delivery will drive marketing and operational efficiencies.

As Senior Manager Digital Consumer Experience you will be leading the development of initiatives to improve the quality, quantity and automation of content & consumer experience delivered to our digital wholesale partners. Together with your team,  you will closely team up with the adidas direct-to-consumer eCommerce organization to leverage the best of adidas digital content capabilities to power digital Wholesale performance, and act as the “center of expertise”, setting the reference for adidas and the industry on “how to win” digitally with our wholesale partners today and tomorrow. In cooperation with the Brand, eCommerce and Digital Sales Solutions Teams you will embed these initiatives into actionable reality at scale through orchestrating the E2E process and delivery. You will enable market teams to drive profitable sales and market share growth. Success will be defined by local teams being equipped with all tools, resources and support to execute the strategic business plan and increase traffic to and conversion of adidas products.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Digital Experience strategy in line with the Digital Wholesale 2025 strategy
  • Lead the digital Content & Consumer Experience agenda across the organization by setting priorities and targets
  • Design & implement Content initiatives and solutions in cooperation with eCommerce, Brand and Digital Sales Solutions (DSS) to drive sell-out in the Digital WHS business
  • Monitor the performance of initiatives and ensure developed content capabilities bring value to the markets
  • Lead future proof digital consumer initiatives that create value
  • Manage the timely execution of new and existing tools, services and ways of working
  • Lead and develop your team by living diversity and inclusion

This will be achieved by:

  • Leveraging existing Digital eCommerce Content and Tools to Digital WHS partners to improve consumer experience and drive conversion
  • Partner up with the Market Acceleration Team to understand prioritization of market needs
  • Drive for results and monitor progress in achieving goals with cross-functional teams
  • Understand the consumer path-to-purchase and account needs to inform Content creation teams with relevant inputs to better serve Customers and Consumers
  • Drive consistent communication and transparency of Content initiatives implementation status and performance to all stakeholders, including senior leadership teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders from different functions like IT, Marketing and Sales with diverse nationalities and different seniority levels
  • Strong ability in structuring and analysing complex and dynamic topics and setting direction in a fast-paced environment to facilitate transformation
  • Working knowledge of data and managing digital performance KPIs
  • Profound Knowledge in Project Management (agile & waterfall), especially in the field of digital tools
  • Strong confidence and taking personal ownership with a strong growth mindset that challenges the existing
  • Being truly passionate about e-commerce
  • Ability to oversee the big strategic picture as well as getting into operational details when required
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent
  • 7+ years Professional experience in eCommerce, Sales, Digital Tools or Digital Marketing
  • Industry: Sporting Goods, FMCG, Fashion
  • Strong experience in developing services for Digital Wholesale (Product Data, Digital Asset Management, Search Optimization, etc.) and Digital Marketing (Marketing Planning, Digital Campaign execution, etc.)
  • Experience in project management focused on the development of new technical tools (e.g. defining requirements, project planning, management of timings)
  • Experience in working on a global as well as on market level
  • Experience in professional leadership of small teams
